If the thought of heading into a health club makes you cringe, don’t sweat it! Well…sweat it! But sweat it at home.
Remember that your body is your best piece of exercise equipment. You are your own
built-in weight. You don’t need fancy weightlifting machines, elliptical trainers with mini TVs, or that funky
ab toner machine to get a good workout. Remember that for most of human history, there was no such thing as a gym. There was no structured place to exercise. We moved all day and every day no matter our location!
While gravity provides the weight, you provide the burst of intensity to feel the burn and
break a sweat. Remember that effective
exercise is all about intensity. So if you feel more comfortable and are able to give maximal effort at home, go for it!
