Being mindful is a way of stopping, or even pausing in your busy day to acknowledge and appreciate. Acknowledge the blueness of the sky that your heart is beating and keeping you alive; being mindful is merely being more conscious of life as it happens.

One way to be more mindful is to focus on one task at a time, putting yourself fully into that one job. Instead of multitasking and doing things just to get them done, focus one thing at a time. This will ensure that what you are doing that exact moment will be done as well as it can be and when it is over it is over and you can give your full attention to something else. This practice can be especially helpful when eating. Being mindful of that one decedent piece of chocolate and being completely mindful while eating it can let you finish that piece content that when you are done, you’re done. This will take practice but will work wonders when accomplished.
