We often think of mental health and physical health as two distinct things. But our thoughts affect our physical health and our state of physical health affects our mental health. Sometimes there is no distinct line to divide the two. Have you ever been so worried about something that you felt nauseated or short of breath? That is a clear example of how our thoughts affect our body. Fortunately this can work in both directions; when you are feeling well and confident you may notice you can beat that cold going around the office. Or on a more personal scale maybe when you are feeling at your best you treat your body better; exercising and eating more healthful foods.

Feeling well and confident often takes a little practice. One way to shift your thought to a more into a more positive landscape is to meditate. Meditating allows you to learn to tune out the distractions so you are able to give your full attention to yourself and what you need to get done to be the best you.
