It’s inevitable that once or twice a week you will have leftovers, and thank goodness for that. Leftovers are quick, easy and cheap. Whether your leftover are the same meal you had the night before, or parts of several meals you and your family have eaten over the past week, they can still be tasty and cheap.

When saving leftovers it is important to think about storage. You can’t just throw that leftover brown rice into the refrigerator in the bowl it was served it, it will be dried out before breakfast and what’s the point of saving something if you’re going to just throw it away anyway.
